Shea butter is an extremely effective emollient and skin elasticiser for stretch marks (superior to cocoa butter) because of it's natural latex as well as being completely ingestible so therefore good for sore/chafed nipples while breast feeding. It can also be used for diaper rash and treatment of eczema as an emollient to maintain moisture in the epidermis.
Editor's note: this product is fantastic for very dry, dehydrated and damaged skin. Examples include concrete burns, cracked heels and eczema.
Rebecca says this about Pure Organic Shea & Aloe: I have made an amazing discovery about the Remedica Shea Nut butter and Aloe Vera. Yesterday I spent hours and hours digging up a bunch of weeds with a spade so I can plant a veggie patch. By that night my wrists, elbows, shoulders and legs were killing me! I felt like I had arthritis! Last night I woke up in the middle of the night because the pain had gotten worse. So I massaged the Remedica butter into just my arms because they hurt more than my legs, and eventually went back to sleep. This morning when I woke up my arms didn't hurt at all, but my legs did! I didn't expect that to happen! Today I googled the effect of Shea butter in treating arthritis and it turns out that it does help, because has anti-inflammatory properties.
