Key Ingredients Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides) Organic Supercritical Extract : This green coastal shrub produces coral-red edible berries. Both the juice from the fruit and oil from the seed are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, carotenoids (Pro-Vitamin A) and Vitamin E. This combination of Vitamin E and Pro-Vitamin A helps bind free radicals and protect the skin against the influences of dry air and wind. Extracts of both the fruit and oil have these antioxidant properties, offering protection against free-radical damage to the skin and hence making Sea Buckthorn a useful addition in a daytime moisturizer. The seeds and pulp of the Sea Buckthorn berries produce the beneficial golden-red oil that is additionally rich in unsaturated essential fatty acids, including linoleic and linolenic acids. The oil aids in skin renewal.
Licorice (Glycirrhiza Glabra) Organic Supercritical Extract - Licorice root extract is useful as an anti-inflammatory that scavenges free radicals.
