What is the difference between Professional Mineral Make Up and Commercial
Mineral Make Up?
Professional mineral make up such as Minerelle are designed to be
non-irritating, non-comedogenic and allow the skin to breathe. The key
ingredients are pure mineral pigments and titanium dioxide. It does not contain
Talc which is commonly found in commercial or cheaper brands of mineral make up.
Talc is comedogenic which means it can block pores. It also stops the skin from
breathing and so is not good for inflammatory skin conditions such as acne,
rosacea, dermatitis or skin allergies. When choosing a mineral make up, if you
are unsure, read the ingredient list or try the product on your skin to see how
it feels. Mineral make up should not feel heavy or greasy on the skin. For more
information about mineral make up, please contact Vitale on info@vitalenatural.com.au
What are the benefits of Mineral Make Up?
Great on Acne & Pimples
Minerelle powders will not clog your pores.
They allow your skin to breathe and functional normally. You can wear them every
day, knowing that they will take away the redness of blemishes and won’t clog
your skin in any way. They are absolutely fantastic.
Covers Skin Conditions
Minerelle colours have been created so that they neutralize any redness
caused by acne, pimples, rosacea, sun damage and redness following cosmetic
treatments. Minerelle evens out the skin tone and gives the face a healthy
bloom.
Does not Clog or Harm the Skin
Minerelle powders sit on the surface of the skin and do not block the pores
with petrochemicals, oils or unnecessary fillers such as talc. These products
can stretch the pores of your skin or cause irritations and allergies. Minerelle
is so good you can even sleep in it.!!
Virtually No Allergy Risk. No toxins, Fillers or Fragrances
Many people are allergic or sensitive to traditional cosmetics because they
are filled with talc, petrochemicals, alcohol and perfumes. Minerelle contains
none of these ingredients.
Weightless
Minerelle powders are weightless so you will be unaware that you are wearing
make-up. It also allows the skin to breathe. How good is that!
Anti Ageing
Minerelle powders sit on the surface of the skin and do not ‘fill up’ lines
and wrinkles. The light reflecting properties of minerals give a soft focus to
fine lines. These two important characteristics, coupled with the way Minerelle
evens out the skin tone and gives a healthy bloom to the skin, means that you
will look more beautiful than other women of your age.
Not Tested on Animals and Environmentally
Friendly
Minerelle is not tested on any animals whatsoever. As the minerals and
pigments are natural, they will not cause any harm to the environment.
The Minerelle powders include the Foundation Powders, Blush and Eye Colours.
How do I apply Minerelle Foundation Powder?
- Your face needs to be clean before you use Minerelle.
- Apply moisturiser. It is necessary to use a moisturiser in order for the
minerals to adhere to the skin. (Traditional make-up uses petrochemicals and
toxins to ‘glue’ or bind the products to the skin.) Make sure you have not
applied the moisturiser too heavily as your skin will not be able to absorb
a large amount.
- Wait for the moisturiser to dry completely otherwise the minerals will
not disperse evenly over the face and your make-up will end up blotchy and
streaky.
- Apply Foundation Powder immediately after your moisturiser has dried.
- The natural pigments are highly concentrated and so only a very small
amount of Minerelle is needed. The key to applying the minerals is ‘less is
best’. Apply small amounts and build up to the desired coverage. Apply a
thin layer to the entire face including eyelids and lips.
- If you have applied too much powder, remove excess with a sponge or
microfibre cloth.
- If you need heavier coverage, build up a series of thin layers rather
than apply one thick layer otherwise the minerals will ‘clump’ in patches on
the face.
- If you have any areas that need additional camouflage, dip the Multi
Brush into the Foundation Powder and, with a feathery touch, cover the spot.
- If your pores still look large, gently stipple/press your finger over
the area to give a more even coverage.
